PROPOSED VARIANCE
The applicant requests relief from Section 26. 10.2 to allow parking to
be five (5) feet from property line; a variance of 25 feet.
ZONING ORDINANCE REQUIREMENT
Pursuant to Section 26. 10.2, adjacent to residential districts: No
portion of any structure, except signs advertising sale or rental of
the property, shall be located closer than fifty (50) feet to any
agricultural or residential district and no off-street parking space
shall be closer than thirty (30) feet to any agricultural or residential
district.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
We feel that the applicant has sufficient area to construct parking
area in a location other than in the required setback or buffer zone.
We feel that the intent of the Ordinance was to buffer the adjoining
zone from any activity.
We cannot recommend approval .
