Box 1585 Charlottesville, VA 22902 Re: Board of Zoning Appeals Action VA-82-46 Dear Mr. Smith: This letter is to inform you that on September 14, 1982, during the regular meeting of the Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals, your application for VA-82-46 was heard. The Board ruled to grant the variance as follows: (1) Granted relief from Section 26. 10. 1 to allow sign number 1 to be located ten feet north from Austin Drive right-of-way, a variance of 40 feet; and to be 30 feet from U.S. 29 right- of-way, a variance of 20 feet. (2) Granted relief from Section 26. 10. 1 to allow sign number 4 to be located 10 feet south of Rt. 606 right-of-way, a variance of 40 feet. (3) Granted relief from Section 26. 10. 1 to allow sign number 9 to be located 20 feet south of Rt. 763 right-of-way, a variance of 30 feet; and to be located 20 feet from Rt. 29 right-of-way, a variance of 30 feet. (4) Granted relief from Section 26. 10. 1 to allow sign number 10 to be located 35 feet north of Austin Drive right-of-way, a variance of 15 feet. (5) Granted relief from Section 4. 15.3.8 to allow 127.5 square feet aggregate area of freestanding business signs, a variance of 27.5 square feet. (6) Granted relief from Section 3.0 to allow sign number 1 (directional sign) to be 12 square feet, a variance of 8 square feet. (7) Granted relief from Section 3.0 to allow sign number 4 (directional sign) to be 15 square feet, a variance of 11 square feet. Page 2 *0110, VA-82-46 -General Electric Company September 15, 1982 Pursuant to Section 35.0 of the Zoning Ordinance, the actual costs of any notice required under the code shall be taxed to the applicant, to the extent that the same shall exceed the applicable fee set forth in this section. Failure to pay all applicable fees shall constitute grounds for the denial of any application. Please see the attached bill for the amount due of $32.30.
