Maupin Tax Map: 17 Parcel: 18 (part of) Zoned: RA Existing Activity Farming Proposed Variance The applicant requests relief from Section 10.4 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to allow a parcel to have 127.5 feet of frontage existing on public road; a variance of 122.50 feet. Zoning Ordinance Requirement Pursuant to Section 10.4, all parcels shall have a minimum frontage on existing public roads of 250 feet. Staff Comments Parcels 18E, and 18F were cut off of parcel 18. The division of these parcels left the remaining road frontage of parcel 18 (residue) on Rt. 601. Parcel 18 has frontage on Rt. 668 also. We feel that the creation of less than the required road frontage was self imposed. A favorable recommendation cannot be made. $20.
