Land and Sarah Churchill Tax Map: 58 Parcel: 3M Zoned: RA, Rural Areas Existing Activity Residence and Out Buildings Proposed Variance The applicant requests relief from Section 10.4 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to allow a farm building to be located 30 feet from right-of-way, a variance of 45 feet. Zoning Ordinance Requirement Pursuant to Section 10.4, all structures shall be located 75 feet from a right-of-way. Staff Comments They propose to construct another farm building on the property. There are existing buildings on the site, one of which is located close to the right-of-way (private road) . The proposed building would be located beyond this existing structure. The topography of the property is such that the more adoptable building site is where the present buildings are located and the proposed one will be.
