Dear Mr. Payne:
Enclosed please find a copy of a deed transferring the above-
referenced acreage to you, recorded on February 17 , 1982 , in
Deed Book 734 , Page 080 . The deed refers to this property as
being a portion of Lot 39; however, this property was
combined with Lot 34 in 1972 when you purchased 2 . 0 acres
described as Lot 39A. (See enclosed plat. )
Appropriate County approvals were not obtained for the most
recent transaction. Therefore , with the information available
at this time, it appears that violation of Chapter 18 of the
Code of Albemarle County exists and this letter serves as
notice to you of such violation. As a matter of procedure, I
have requested the Building Inspections Department not to
issue any building permits on Lot 34 , Lot 39A or the 1. 18 acre
piece, until this matter has been resolved.
Please do not be alarmed, since I believe this matter can be
easily corrected through _your immediate attention and
