Dear Mr. Schulman:
This letter is to inform you that on October 12, 1982, during the regular
meeting of the Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals, your application for
VA-82-59 was approved subject to a limitation of 6 square feet aggregate area
for the sign, and a height limitation of the existing Park View sign.
This variance approval allows relief from Section 26. 10. 1 of the Albemarle
County Zoning Ordinance to allow a freestanding business sign to be located 2
feet from the highway right-of-way, a variance of 48 feet; and to allow the
sign to be located 15 feet from Parkview Drive, a variance of 35 feet.
Pursuant to Section 35.0 of the Zoning Ordinance, the actual costs of any
notice required under the code shall be taxed to the applicant, to the extent
that the same shall exceed the applicable fee set forth in this section.
Failure to pay all applicable fees shall constitute grounds for the denial of
any application. Please see the attached bill for the amount due of $1. 14.
