Lot 46, Phase II, Briarwood Subdivision, Albemarle
County, Virginia
Dear Ms. Taylor:
This will confirm our telephone conversation of January 25,
1983 that R. D. Wade Builder, Inc. wishes to withdraw its
application for a variance regarding the setback line for the
above referenced lot. This was to have come up on your calendar
on February 8 , 1983 .
It is my understanding that in the future when we seek such
relief you have requested that we go through the Planning
Commission for approval of the plat since Briarwood is a PRD.
I hope the opportunity to use that information does not come up.

VA-82-74 R.D. Wade Builder, Inc.
1/25/83 Per R.E. Vaughn & A. Evans - Called & told Mr. Williams that need
to take this back to the Commission to reapprove lot lines instead of going
through variance procedure. Need a written request into Planning Department
by 5:00 today to change setback for one lot or all (state exactly what they
want in letter) . Ron Keeler could get it on the agenda for Tuesday meeting.
Talked to Mr. Williams who stated that he meant to call our office but had
not had the chance. The surveyor pulled from something other than the stake
and it actually exceeded the setback by 1 1/2 feet and was setback 31.5 feet.
Therefore he did not need a variance at all. He stated that he would get
a letter into the office this date withdrawing the application.
1/26/83 Refund done
