The applicant requests relief from Section 10.4 of the Albemarle County
Zoning Ordinance to allow a lot to have 150 feet of road frontage; a
variance of 100 feet.
Zoning Ordinance Requirement
Pursuant to Section 10.4, the minimum amount of road frontage for a lot
on an existing public road is 250 feet.
Staff Comments
The applicant has property which currently has ample road frontage to
provide the required frontage. Unless the applicant can show reasons
beyond what is physically shown, we cannot speak favorable toward the
application. If the Board does wish to grant the variance, it should
be subject to Planning Dept. approval of the plat.
