RE: Board of Zoning Appeals Action, VA-83-36
Dear Dr. Halapin:
This letter is to inform you that on July 12, 1983, during the meeting of the
Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals, your application for VA-83-36 was
approved including and subject to the two staff recommended conditions as
follows:
(1) no additions would be allowed that would encroach on the setback
to the adjoining residential property
(2) adequate screening should be provided as recommended by the Planning
Commission for site plan approval
This variance approval allows relief from Section 21.7.2 of the Albemarle County
Zoning Ordinance to allow a structure to be located closer than 50 feet to a
residential district, a variance of 30 feet.
Pursuant to Section 35.0 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance, the actual
costs of any notice required under the code shall be taxed to the applicant,
to the extent that the same shall exceed the applicable fee set forth in this
section. Failure to pay all applicable fees shall constitute grounds for the
denial of any application. Please see the attached bill for the amount of $1.93.
If you have any questions, please contact our office.
Respectfully, 2::Z -----,
