Re: Board of Zoning Appeals Action, VA-83-38
. Dear Mr. Nelson:
This letter is to inform you that on July 12, 1983, during the regular
meeting of the Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals, your applica-
tion for VA-83-38 was approved. This variance approval allows relief
from Section 4.15.3.1 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to
allow 150 square feet of freestanding business sign, a variance of
50 square feet.
Pursuant to Section 35.0 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance, the
actual costs of any notice required under the code shall be taxed to
the applicant, to the extent that the same shall exceed the applicable
fee set forth in this section. Failure to pay all applicable fees
shall constitute grounds for the denial of any application. Please
see the attached bill for the amount due of $2.91.
Please find enclosed a copy of a sign permit application, which needs
to be completed and returned to our office along with the filing fee
of $10. Checks should be made payable to the County of Albemarle.
Please enclose a copy of the specifications of the sign, if the sign
is different from the one submitted with the variance, and a location
sketch indicating the distance the sign is located from the property
line.
