Commissioner May 23, 2019 County of Albemarle Department of Community Development 401 McIntire Road Charlottesville, VA 22902 Attn: Mariah GIeason Re: Glenbrook at Foothills Phase V— Final Site Plan SDP-2019-00003 Review #2 Dear Ms. Gleason: The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use Section, has reviewed the above referenced plan as submitted by Collins Engineering, revised 2 April 2019, and offers the following comments: 1. An SSAR Exception for connectivity will be required in order for this plan to be approved. 2. There must be a 40' buffer between the cul-de-sac and parallel parking. 3. Street trees cannot be within 30 feet of the curb return at intersection. 4. On the cover sheet the plan title as well as the project line in the margins appears to be incorrect. 5. A comment response Ietter was not found with this submission. Please provide a comment response letter with each submission after the initial. Please provide a copy of the revised plan along with a comment response letter. If further information is desired, please contact Justin Deel at 434-422-9894. A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way.
