William Letteri Tax Map: 61A Parcel: 03-23 Zoned: R-4 Existing Activity Single Family Dwelling Proposed Variance The applicant requests relief from Section 15.3 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to allow an addition to a single family dwelling to be located 15 feet from the rear property line; a variance of 5 feet. Zoning Ordinance Requirement Pursuant to Section 15.3, a minimum rear setback of 20 feet is required. Staff Comments The proposed addition will be added to the rear of the existing house that is the greatest distance from the rear portion of lot. The rear yard offers limited space for any addition. We do not find that an addition should be any deterrent to the adjacent property. rrr 6-3 . The board of zoning appeals shall keep a set of minutes for all regular , adjourned and special „ meetings as well as committee meetings . • 6-3-1 . The secretary shall prepare a set of minutes • for all regular , adjourned and special meet- ings as well as committee meetings . 6-3-2 . The case before the board shall be summarized by the secretary , and parties in interest shall have the privilege of the floor. No record of state- ment shall be recorded , or sworn to , as evidence for any court of law without notice of the parties in interest . 7-4 .
