To install a satellite dish on portion of the roof structure and conceal it by painting the Entire satellite dish the
exact same (exterior paint)color as the surrounding trim color it is mounted on. This will be mounted on a
support post for the roof that covers the rooftop 'porch'of the fourth level of town house.

Only(1)set of building material samples is required. All submittal items,including building material
samples,become the property of Albemarle County. Applicants are encouraged to maintain duplicate

complete without the appropriate checklist, completed, signed, and included with the required submittal
materials indicated on the checklist.

A. Written description of the proposal
1 Ql Provide a description of the proposed work.
2 j Explain how the proposal is compatible with the surrounding area and the Entrance Corridor.
B. For Minor Site Plan Amendments, provide a plan showing the approved site condition and the
following (drawn to the scale of 1"=20',clearly legible):
1 ❑ Location and identification of all proposed changes, including new site features and features to be
demolished such as but not limited to:

No one likes Satellite Dishes. They are beyond ugly and insult the serenity and
beauty of our environment. I hate them. Because of this, I am determined to
make sure the Dish is as unobtrusive as possible.
I have discussed with Satellite service provider; I have obtained duplicate exterior
paint matching the townhouse and will paint every surface of the Dish to assure
all of us, that the Dish will be inconspicuous and will blend with the townhouse
structure. This should therefore, not interfere with the ambience of the area.
Upon studying the view from Avon, I think there is a possibility the Dish may
actually be hidden from view. Even though this may be true, I intend to paint the
Dish as sited, regardless.
