Part C: Description of Proposal
Describe your proposal.Attach a separate sheet if necessary.
The existing finish water pump station(FWPS)was constructed in 1966, and has reached the end of its life. It
is proposed to construct a new FWPS and generator upslope of the existing station and remove the existing
FWPS and generator. Moving the location of the FWPS will improve the ease of access and prevent the
building from flooding during storms. The proposed building shall be constructed out of the same material and
be the same color as the GAC facility which was approved by the architectural review board.No trees will be
removed with this project. However, prior to this project RSWA will perform maintenance clearing over
existing pipelines according to a separate pipeline maintenance program. The proposed project will be an
improvement to the site, is consistent with what was approved for the amended project, and will have minimal
impact to the Entrance Corridor. (See attached Cover Letter for full description of proposal).

Only (1)set of building material samples is required. All submittal items, including building material
samples,become the property of Albemarle County. Applicants are encouraged to maintain duplicate
copies of all submittal items in their own files.
• Only complete application packages will be scheduled for ARB review. The application package is not
complete without the appropriate checklist, completed, signed, and included with the required submittal
materials indicated on the checklist.
