Hi Richard,
Thanks for taking my telephone call a minute ago. As promised, here is the link to the audio recording of the ARB
meeting on 4-15-19; the Harbor Freight Tools project is the first regular discussion item. I believe the board discusses
the proposed awning color (blue) around the 30-minute mark and after:
April 15, 2019 ARB Meetina Part A
So, as I stated in our telephone conversation, I have shared your revised drawing with Stan Binsted, the Chair of the
ARB, and his response to me was that he Dopes your client will reconsider the blue color of the coping and the gable
roof as it is currently illustrated. I believe it was the consensus of the ARB (and the recording will hopefully underscore
my assertion) that maintaining the Sherwood Green color that is presently on the building on the coping, roof feature,
and even awning would present a coherent and appropriate appearance for the Entrance Corridor. Mr. Binsted
encourages you to revert to the green on the coping and gable roof feature at the very least.
Again, our next -filing deadline is June 3"d for a July 151 ARB meeting; the following is June 241 for August 5t" ARB
meeting.

Hello Phil,
Attached are the material and color samples approved for the Gander Mountain building in z013, as well as the
approved lighting plan for the building and site, on which you will find the approved manufacturer cut sheets for the
exterior wall -mounted lighting fixtures. With this information, you should be able to provide me with the
manufacturer's cut sheets — not a section — for the storefront system and the wall -mounted fixtures that match the
brand and color of that which was approved previously.

Hello Philip,
I received your voicemail message. Let me clarify my last email: your application is incomplete. It did not address
the requests that were made on April 15, 2019. Your application is therefore not scheduled for the June 17 ARB
meeting. When you have a complete application including a response memo, your application will be scheduled for
the next available meeting. I'm hyperlinking the filing deadline schedule and corresponding ARB meeting dates for
your convenience; today is a filing deadline, and the following one is June 3.

Subject: RE: Harbor Freight Tools - ARB Application
Hello Philip,
Thank you for supplying the color catalog and a Sherwin Williams color equivalent to "Interstate Blue."
Actually, I have just completed checking your application submission for completeness with the checklist for
Amendment to Certificate of Appropriateness applications (see attached), and your submission is lacking. Firstly,
you were expressly asked in the action letter following the 4-15-19 ARB meeting (see attached) to provide a cover
memo with responses to each of the requested changes delineated in that action letter. No such memo was not
supplied. Furthermore, the letter asks that you "cloud" or otherwise draw attention to revisions made on the
submitted drawing(s), including revisions that were not requested. Margaret and I noticed that this revised
drawing has the faux logs that comprise the pediment on the west (side) elevation removed; this was not a request
by the ARB and should have been pointed out to us in memo form as well as on the drawing.
Secondly, the action letter states in #6 that the proposed metal should "match the existing roof color." This change
was not made, and your latest revision shows coping in Interstate Blue as well as roof and awning in that proposed
color. Your response memo must address why this requested change was not made.
Thirdly, the action letter (#9) requested a roof plan showing proposed mechanical equipment or a site plan if future
mechanical equipment will be ground -mounted. Neither was submitted. If you have no intention of installing any
mechanical equipment, this needs to be made clear in your response memo.
Fourthly, you were asked (#8 and #11) to provide manufacturer's specifications for the proposed lighting fixtures
and window glass for review. These were not supplied and justification for this should be in your response memo.
12
We are considering this application incomplete. When we receive all requested materials, your project will be
slated for the next available ARB meeting. For instance, Monday, May 20 is the filing deadline for the July 1 ARB
meeting.
Please let me know if you have questions.

Hi Heather,
shed below is a color chart for the interstate blue color. The intent is that is the closest standard color to the
