Below are our responses and revisions made to the drawings for the above referenced project. Staff Recommendations: 1. Entry element has been revised to incorporate staff recommendations. 2. Pier width has been reduced while maintaining horizontal datums. 3. We are incorporating fenestration and entry elements into a former fenestration -free portion of the building. 4. In an attempt to maintain continuity of the building we plan to maintain the existing Sherwood Green coping and roofing elements. We respectfully request to include our prototypical "Interstate Blue" standing seam awning above the entry for branding purposes. Staff Comments: 1. 1/8" scale elevations are provided for the proposed HFT lease extents. 2. Pier width has been reduced. 3. Entry element has been revised to incorporate additional horizontal datum to emphasize the pediment form. An additional color has been employed to unify to signage areas. Unfortunately, HFT is not open to utilizing the log appearance due to branding conflict. 4. We are incorporating fenestration and entry elements into a former fenestration -free portion of the building. 5. Separate signage application note is added to the drawing. 6. Material legend is revised for bot metal colors. 7. Enclosed is a color chart for the standing seam awning. 8. Glazing note has been added to the drawing. 9. Storefront system spec sheet is included. 10. Parapet at the roof is min 4'-0" and screens all existing mechanical units, any new RTUs will be screened from ground view. Pictures included. 11. Screening note added to drawing. 12. Intent was to match previously approved existing light fixture. If the ARB has a specification we will incorporate. 13. Lighting cut-off note is added to the drawing. Thank you for your consideration, Bryan Matthews Architect RJA Architect RJA ARCHITECT ROW J. The information our office was received was the board did not care for the blue awning with the existing green coping. In order to provide a more unified look at our portion of the building, while reinforcing Harbor Freight's branding in contrast to the former Gander Mountain we choose to utilize the blue color at new standing seam roof elements as well as incorporating the same blue at the existing coping. All existing mechanical units on the roof are adequately screened currently, see enclosed pictures. Furthermore, we are planning to utilize all the existing mechanical units as they are currently situated. All mechanical equipment is noted to be screened on the elevation drawing. Glazing is provided via the bi-parting unit vendor, unit cut sheet is attached. Glazing is to conform the criteria set forth by the board as noted on the elevation drawing. Regarding the light fixtures, out intent is to use the previously approved specified fixture to maintain uniformity throughout the building, this is also noted on the elevations.
