Dear Mr. Grady:
This letter is to inform you that on May 8, 1984, during the regular
meeting of the Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals, your application for
VA-84-20 was approved.
This variance approval allows relief from Section 10.4, Area & Bulk
Regulations, to allow the creation of a lot with 65 feet of road frontage, a
variance of 185 feet; to allow a residence (mobile home) to remain on the prop-
erty located 20 feet from the rear property line, a variance of 15 feet; and
to temporarily allow 4 mobile homes (by definition) on 4.0 acres, an area
variance of 4 acres.
The removal of the mobile homes will be closely monitored and I urge you
to adhere to the mobile home removal schedule as presented in the staff report.
Pursuant to Section 35.0 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance, the
actual costs of any notice required under the code shall be taxed to the ap-
plicant, to the extent that the same shall exceed the applicable fee set forth
in this section. Please see the attached bill for the amount due of $8.65.
If you have any questions, please contact our office.

Re: VA-84-20; Mobile Home Removal Schedule
Dear Paul:
As you may be aware, your property was inspected on June 12, 1984,
pertaining to removal of the mobile home. The inspector found that the mo-
bile home on the rear plateau area of the property has not yet been removed.
Immediate removal of this mobile home was one of the conditions for approval
of your variance as well as subdivision approval. I find no pleasure in
doing so but please be advised that if the mobile home in question has not
been removed by July 20, 1984, I will be forced to take appropriate legal
action. I trust you will give this matter priority so that such action
will not be necessary.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
Michael E. Tompkins
