MODULE 1 GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this project is the construction of a new adminstration building for
the Christian Aid Mission. The site of 16.02 acres is located on U S Route 250 in
Albemarle County, Virginia, about 3 miles west of Charlottesville (vicinity map on
Dwg. AM I). The construction will include a 2 story concrete block building, widening
of access roads and landscaping. A total of about 1.7 acres wiil be disturbed during
construction, including ROC facilities.
1.2 SITE DESCRIPTION
The site drainage patterns, topographic information and adjacent areas are the same
as described in Reference 1, par. 1.1, except for the following changes:
a.Prcels 23E and 23G1, shown on Reference 2, D 1, have been merged with the third parcel,
23G (re: Deed Book 1342, page 612). The SITE now consists of a single parcel, TM 59-23G,
containing 16.02 acres (re: Reference Dwg. AM 1).
b. The seven sub areas listed in REF. 1, page 1 have been modified to show the runoff
fran Area I flowing off-site to the east, and runoff fran Area VI flowing _
into the Broomley Road drainage system. VDOT ROW areas affected by development
under the original SITE PLAN are also shown in the revised Runoff and Soil Eroision
Worksheet ( Ref. AM 4). The Areas, therefore, which ultimately discharge into the 2x4
culvert, are listed below along with soils and area information.
