Barrett Route 6 , Box 10 Charlottesville, VA 22901 Re: Variance Application, VA-85-28 Dear Mr. Barrett : Upon review of your application for construction of a single- family residence on slopes of 25 percent or greater, I have deter- mined that the application should be voided. Instead, a subdivi- sion revision should be made through the Planning Department , and reviewed by the Planning Commission. As indicated by a copy of the Staff Comment Report , there were building sites on the 16 acre parcel . The Commission has the authority to grant waivers as per Section 4.2 . 5 of the Or- dinance. Please contact Mary Joy Scala in the Planning Department in pursuit of your request and the necessary requirements to accomplish such. A $20 refund check will be forwarded to you for the variance application fee, but it will be several weeks because of the process time involved. If you have any questions, please contact our office.
