Erosion and Sediment Control Narrative
1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION 3. PERMANENT SEEDING (PS), 3.32: PERMANENT SEEDING SHALL BE PROVIDED ON SITE TO PROVIDE STABILIZATION D. MAINTENANCE: ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL STRUCTURES AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE MAINTAINED,
FOR ALL DISTURBED AREAS. SEEDING RATES ARE IN POUNDS PER ACRE. FOR HIGH MAINTENANCE LAWN AREAS INSPECTED, AND REPAIRED AS NEEDED TO INSURE CONTINUED PERFORMANCE OF THEIR INTENDED FUNCTION.
THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO PROVIDE THE CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE I AND PHASE II SINGLE FAMILY DEVELOPMENT APPLY 200-250 POUNDS OF KENTUCKY 31 OR TURF -TYPE TALL FESCUE. FOR GENERAL SLOPES 3:1 OR LESS ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL MEASURES SHALL BE CHECKED AT THE END OF EACH DAY AND AFTER
FOR WESTHALL. THE SITE IS LOCATED IN ALBEMARLE COUNTY AND WILL INVOLVE DIISTURBING 18.91 ACRES. THE APPLY 128 POUNDS OF KENTUCKY 31 FESCUE, 2 FOUNDS OF RED TOP GRASS, AND 20 POUNDS OF A SEASONAL EVERY RAINFALL EVENT
DEVELOPMENT WILL INCLUDE APPROXIMATELY 2,538 LF OF CLOSED SECTION ROADWAY. NURSE CROP. FOR LOW MAINTENANCE SLOPES STEEPER THAN 3:1 APPLY 128 POUNDS OF KENTUCKY 31
FESCUE, 2 POUNDS OF RED TOP GRASS, AND 20 POUNDS OF SEASONAL NURSE CROP. FOR SOUTHERN SLOPE 1. DAMAGE TO EROSION CONTROL, MEASURES CAUSED BY CONSTRUCTION TRAFFIC OR OTHER ACTIVITY SHALL
11. EXISTING SITE CONDITIONS (BEYON BLDG 15) APPLY 108 POUNDS OF KENTUCKY 31 FESCUE, 2 POUNDS OF RED TOP GRASS, 20 POUNDS BE REPAIRED BEFORE THE END OF EACH WORKING DAY.

THE PROPOSED SITE IS LOCATED EAST OF BROOKWOOD SUBDIVISION AND WILL INCLUDE AN EXTENSION OF EXISTING PARK THE FOLLOWING SEEDING DATES: FROM FEBRUARY 116 THROUGH APRIL USE ANNUAL RYE; FROM MAY 1 THROUGH 3. (SPEC. 3.02) PROVIDE FOR EQUIPMENT WASHING AS NEEDED TO PREVENT THE TRANSPORT OF SOIL ONTO
ROAD (S.R. 1204) AND A CONNECTION TO EXISTING JAMESTOWN COURT. THE EXISTING SITE IS ZONED R6 AND R4 AND IS AUGUST 15 USE FOXTAIL MILLET; FROM AUGUST 16 THROUGH OCTOBER USE ANNUAL RYE; AND FROM NOVEMBER EXISTING ASPHALT ROADWAYS. ANY SEDIMENT ON THE PAVEMENT SHALL BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY.
PRIMARILY OPEN SPACE WITH SOME WOODED AREAS. THROUGH FEBRUARY 15 USE WINTER RYE. ALL PERMANENT SEEDING SHALL BE FERTILIZED, LIMED AND MULCHED 4. (SPEC. 3.05) SILT FENCE BARRIERS WILL BE CHECKED DAILY FOR UNDERMINING OR DETERIORATION OF THE

THE EASTERN PORTION OF THE SITE IS UNDEVELOPED AREA AND ZONED R1. TILLAGE OF TOPSOIL IN PLACE TO LOOSEN THOROUGHLY AND BREAK UP ALL CLODS TO A DEPTH OF 6 INCHES. HAS ACCUMULATED TO ONE HALF THE DESIGN DEPTH OF THE TRAP. REMOVED SEDIMENT SHALL BE
REMOVE ALL STUMPS AND ROOTS, COARSE VEGETATION, STONES LARGER THAN 1-1/2 INCHES AND ALL DEPOSITED IN A SUITABLE AREA AND IN SUCH A MANNER THAT IT WILL NOT ERODE.
IV. OFF -SITE AREAS CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS. SOIL SHALL BE WORKED BY SUITABLE AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT TO A DEPTH OF NOT 6. (SPEC. 3.09) THE MEASURE SMALL BE INSPECTED AFTER EVERY STORM AND REPAIRS MADE TO THE DIKE,

AREAS OF THIS SOIL ARE SLIGHTLY ELONGATED OR WIDE AND WINDING. THIS SOIL HAS AN ERODIBILITY FACTOR K = 0.24 PROTECTED WITH SEDIMENT TRAPPING MEASURES. THE APPLICANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TEMPORARY PROTECTION 9• (SPEC. 3.31 & 3.32) AREAS WHICH FAIL TO ESTABLISH VEGETATIVE COVER ADEQUATE TO PREVENT RILL
(INDICATING MODERATE ERODIBILITY) IS WITHIN HYDROLOGIC SOIL GROUP B AND HAS A PERMEABILITY RANGING FROM 2.0 AND PERMANENT STABILIZATION OF ALL STOCKPILES ON SITE AS WELL AS BORROW AREAS AND SOIL INTENTIONALLY EROSION WILL BE RESEEDED AS SOON AS SUCH AREAS ARE IDENTIFIED.
