Sediment Trap To Stormwater BMP Construction Notes
1. All disturbed areas must be stadiliZad with pavement Or
a good stoI1 of vegetal On prior 1. the conversion 0f the
trap to a st.rmwater BMP.
2. Accumulated sediment must be removed From the trap to a
depth 24" below the Stone weir (see tletail). the interior
slopes 0f the trap regradod to 3 : 1 or flatter, and the stone
weir repaired if ecessary.
3. De -watering Trench shall be installetl in accordance With
the attached Sediment Trap to BMP Plan I the Oe-
Wstaring Tr eno Detail . Prior to ins tall ati0 n, the
10c at ion and orientation of the trench shall he field
determined by the County and the Contractor.
4. After installation of the de -watering trench. the bottom
of the stg rmwater BMP will he covered w th at least 2' 0f a
50/50 mixture of sand antl tubs011, and then permanent seed 6
mulch applied.
NOTE: BMP SILT BASIN RETROFIT IS NOT TO BE INSTALLED
UNTIL THE SITE IS SUBSTANTIALLY STAILIZED ACCORDING
TO THE E&S INSPECTOR AND WATER RESOURCES MANAGER.
