This variance allows relief from Section 18.3 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to allow a freestanding sign to be located 21 feet from the highway right-of-way, a variance of 4 feet. The variance also allows relief from Section 4.15.3.5 to allow an identification sign to be 12 square feet; a variance of 10 square feet. Pursuant to Section 35.0 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance, the actual costs of any notice requiredunder the code shall be taxed to the applicant, to the extent that the same shall exceed the applicable fee set forth in this section. Failure to pay all applicable fees shall constitute grounds for the denial of any application. Please See the attached bill for the amount of $3.00.
