Gentlemen:
We hereby submit this list of hardships as justification for
request of a variance:
1 . The sign is smaller than allowed, professionally and
attractively constructed.
2. At the required 75 feet from the right of way, the sign would
be deep in the woods .
3. In 1985, when we first applied for a business license,
Mi Sou Vi of the Zoning Department indicated the only
concerns for erection of a sign were a maximum size of 4
square feet and not to obstruct traffic visibility.
4. We have operated the business for two years without a sign,
and as there is a high turnover and many new homes in North
Pines, we feel the need for a sign to alert new residents
of the beauty salon.
