MEMORANDUM
TO: SP-84-15
Mr. & Mrs. Russell Shifflett
FROM: Andrew Evans, Deputy Zoning Administrator
DATE: May 4, 1987
RE: Status Hearing of Special Use Permit
Mrs. Shifflett met at the Zoning Office with Andrew Evans and
was informed of the following items to be completed and inspections
required.
1) Complete construction of the porch and railings.
2) Complete electrical work .
3) Have all inspections made .
4) Complete 3/4 portion of skirting - the remaining 1/4 will
be completed after the final inspections are made.
Mrs. Shifflett was informed that she has until June 1 , 1987 to
have the work completed and inspections done and that no extension
of time can be granted.
Screening/landscaping of the mobile home will be reviewed by
June 1 , 1987.

DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: The Applicant seeks a variance to be relieved from relocating
an access easement: The Owners are attempting to convey 3.00 acres to their daughter
through the family division section of the Subdivision Ordinance. The only feasible
route for the 30 ft. access easement serving Parcel B is by the existing mobile home
owned by the Applicant. This violates the 60' building setback required by the
Zoning Ordinance for dwellings to be 60' from the margin of the access easement.
JUSTIFICATION FOR REQUEST: The Applicant feels there would be a hardship to
relocate the access easement elsewhere, due to the topography. Also, the
• proposed easement follows an existing dirt road.
