This letter is to notify you, as adjoining property owners, that
Benjamin Boyajian property described as Tax Map 60, Parcel (s) 38 &
39, Zoned HC, has made application for VA-88-11, requesting relief
from Section(s) 30. 5.6.2 . 1 and 30.5.7 .2 (b and c) of the Albemarle
County Zoning Ordinance, as follows:
The applicant seeks a variance from Sections 30.5. 6.2 . 1 and
30.5.7.2 (b and c) of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to
reduce the setback for a free-standing business sign in the Scenic
Areas-Highway District from one hundred fifty (150) feet to ten
(10) feet, to increase the number of free-standing business signs
allowed from one (1) to two (2) such signs, to increase the sign
area for free-standing business signs from the maximum allowable
area of eighteen (18) square feet to one hundred sixty (160)
square feet and to increase the wall signage from the maximum
allowable area of thirty-five (35) square feet to ninety-five
(95) square feet.
A public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning Appeals on
Tuesday, June 28, 1988, at 3: 00 p.m. in Meeting Room #7 , Second
Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville,
Virginia.
This application is made available for your review in the
Albemarle County Zoning Office, 401 McIntire Road,
Charlottesville, Virginia.
