To: COUNTY VARIANCE COMMITTEE
I, James E. Harlow, residing at 1651 Cool Springs Road, wish to request
for a variance on my property for an addition to my home of a 12x20 room
in the rear.
Reasons for this variance are:
1) I need more space
2) Cannot go out any other way
3) Confined because of townhouse situated on irregular shaped lot.
4) Possibly at a later date would need a room for an elderly person
who cannot climb stairs and there is no bedroom on the first
floor.
Enclosed are letters from both of my neighbors, Claudia Johnson and Dr.
Allen Everett, whom I have talked to and they agree the addition is
acceptable to them. Also a letter from the Townwood's Board Director,
Frank Kessler is enclosed. He has reviewed the plans and they have his
okay. I also might add there are no buildings close to my rear property
line.
