Dear Mr. Burgess,
On behalf of the Albemarle County School Board we request
the Board of Zoning Appeals approve a variance from the off
street parking requirements for a
school
4. 12. 6. 6 .2 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinand s Section
nance.
The basis for this request is experience at other elementary
schools. The Zoning Ordinance will require this site to have 124
parking spaces , we request the requirement be changed to 64
spaces. The attached memo from VMDO Architects outlines the
justification for this variance.
