Dear Board of Zoning Appeals:
This letter is written on behalf of Jefferson National Bank to express
the Bank's consent to the placement of a directional sign by Scottsville
Shopping Center on our property located at the intersection of State Routes
20 and 726. I have been advised that the Board is considering a request by
Duane Carr for Scottsville Shopping Center for a variance to permit the
erection of the desired sign. If approved by the Board, Scottsville Shopping
Center will have our permission to erect an appropriate sign on our property
at the agreed upon location.
I hope that this letter will enable you to favorably grant the request
for a variance.

seeks a variance from Section 30. 5.7 .2 of the Albemarle County
Zoning Ordinance to increase the sign area of a directional sign
in the Scenic Areas Highway Overlay District from the maximum
allowable area of two (2) square feet to four (4) square feet.
