LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
OF
MARIE S. IIAIGH
I, MARIE S. HAIGH, a resident of and domiciled in Albemarle
County, Virginia, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do
hereby make, publish and declare this to be my Last Will and
Testament hereby revoking any and all wills and codicils hereto-
fore made by me.
FIRST: I direct my personal representatives to pay my
valid, legally enforceable debts and funeral expenses as soon
after my death as is practicable. I instruct my personal
representatives to have my body cremated and conduct graveyard
services unless my children want to hold memorial services at
Crozet Baptist Church. I direct my personal representatives to
have placed on my plot at Rock Gate Cemetery, a small flat stone
marking my grave.
SECOND: At the time of execution of this Will, I own a
parcel of real property in the White Hall District of Albemarle
County, Virginia which has been divided into Lot 1 and Lot 2 by a
survey of Thomas B. Lincoln dated August 31 , 1988 .
(a) Unto my daughter, Mary Haigh Frazier, I do hereby
give and devise the house and the 0 . 86 acre parcel upon which it
is located indicated on said plat as Lot 1 .
(b) Unto my son, Michael Newman Haigh, I do hereby give
and devise my home and the 2 . 14 acres parcel upon which it is
located described on said plat as Lot 2 .
Both properties obtain water from the well located on Lot 1

Both properties obtain water from the well located on r,ot 1
and both parties shall share equally in the cost of maintenance
and repair. The use of the well for the benefit of Lot 2 is
personal to my son Mike and I leave it to my son and daughter to
make the easement permanent if they desire. The distribution of
my real property as provided herein to Mike and Mary is made with
the understanding that both Mary and Mike shall have a right of
first refusal on the others property should the other decide to
sell the same. The right of first refusal shall be for a period
of sixty days from receipt of notice from the other that a bona
fide offer has been received and should the right of first
refusal not be exercised by the other party by completing the
purchase of said property within said sixty day period, said
right of first refusal shall terminate.
THIRD: Unto my daughter, Mary Haigh Frazier, I do hereby
give and bequeath all household contents located in my residence
located on Lot 2 and the tenant house located on Lot 1 at the
time of my death.
FOURTH: All the rest and residue of my estate, both real
and personal, of whatever kind and wheresoever situate, I do
hereby give, devise and bequeath an equal shares unto my son,
Mike and my daughter, Mary.
FIFTH: I nominate as personal representatives of my estate
my daughter, Mary H. Frazier and my son, Michael Newman Haigh. I
waive surety on the bond of whomsoever shall qualify as personal
representative of my estate. Said personal representative shall
be fully empowered with all the authority permitted a fiduciary

by the provisions of Virginia Code Section 64 . 1-57 as presently
enacted, the terms of which are incorporated herein by reference.
Under this my Last Will and Testament I do hereby set my

appeared, Marie S . Haigh Sherry L . Angell
and W. G. Pickford , known to me to be the Testatrix
and the witnesses , respectively, whose names arc signed to the
attached or foregoing instrument and, all of these persons being
by me first duly sworn, Marie S. Haigh declared to me
and the witnesses in my presence that said instrument is her Last
Will and Testament and that she had willingly signed and executed
it in the presence of said witnesses as her free and voluntary
act for the purposes therein expressed; that said witnesses
stated before me that the foregoing Will was executed and
acknowledged by the Testatrix as her Last Will and Testament in
the presence of said witnesses who, in her presence and at her
request, and in the presence of each other, did subscribe their
names thereto as attesting witnesses on the day of the date of
said Will, and that the Testatrix at the time of the execution of
said Will, was over the age of 18 years and of sound and
disposing mind and memory.
