1. L1.00
a. Recommend revise title to reference SDP2019-00031, and Minor Amendment.
b. Recommend revise Standards and Specifications to reference most recent codes; for examples:
i. Notes 1/2: VDOT 2016 Road and Bridge Specifications /Standards
ii. Note 3: WAPM — Revision 1, April 1, 2015
iii. Note 6: MUTCD —2009 with Revisions 1 and 2
c. General Construction Notes:
i. Note 12: Revise to include Albemarle County notification of proposed use of explosives.
ii. Note 17: Apart from ACSA-projects (and very few others), contractors may not post ESC
plan bonds, unless contractor is site owner. Please revise note to indicate owner must
post ESC Plan bond (NA, in this instance).
iii. Note 22: Ref. ACDSM, p. 17, Sec. 7.C.6. for permissible parking space /sidewalk width
design configuration. Revise note.
d. Revise site note 3 to provide a close approximation of Limits of Disturbance (ft).
e. Provide site note that ESC and SWM plans are not required since LOD < 10,000 ft2.
f. Recommend site note that no modification to Ex. storm drain design is proposed.
g. Recommend site note that slight addition to Ex. building is proposed (concrete pad /RW).
h. Survey sources: Revise to include reference to Lincoln Survey, revised 2/21/19.
i. Recommend site note that no preserved steep slopes exist on parcel.
2. L1.01
a. Recommend graphic scale include text scale: 1" =20'.
b. Provide Seminole Lane deed bk.-pg. reference.
c. Show /label Managed Steep Slopes.
3. L1.02
a. Recommend show `Existing Grades to Remain' label in upper right corner of parcel in bold type.
b. Recommend directional pavement marking arrow to direct traffic entering site.
c. Show buried H2O reclamation tank outfall to Ex. storm /san. sewer.
d. Provide (with Site Plan) inset detail for H2O reclamation tanks, showing LOD required to install.
e. Provide north arrow.
f. Recommend graphic scale include text scale: 1" =10'.

h. Revise managed critical slopes label to read managed steep slopes.
i. Show proposed grading to Managed Steep Slopes at concrete pad and 5' retaining wall.
4. L1.04:
a. CG-2 detail is mislabeled. Please revise.
b. Recommend utility trench detail to ensure clean saw -cut edges, and asphalt repair detail to help
ensure smooth final asphalt.
