Patterson Zoning Administrator AMP/sg,'_; Page 3 The next application before the Board was VA-91-12, William S. Coleman, Jr. Mr. Grady stated that Mr. Coleman had requested deferral. Mr. Cogan moved for deferral of VA-91-12 to the April 16th meeting. Mr. Van Fossen seconded the motion, which was unanimous. As a matter of old business, the Board reviewed VA-89-9 for Reynovia Land Trust. Mr. Grady stated that VA-89-9 was approved on March 14, 1989 to allow relief from Section 3 . 0 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow a subdivision sign to be illuminated for a period of two years. He asked if the Board wished to grant it permanently. Mr. Rennolds asked why the two-year restriction was placed on the approval, and Mr. Cogan replied because they were selling lots. Mr. Kennedy asked what staff recommended. Mr. Grady pointed out that previously staff recommended denial. Mr. Bailey asked where the lighting was located on the sign. Mr. Grady said that the sign was lighted indirectly by flood lamps that were located in the landscaped area. Mr. Kennedy asked if any complaints had been received, and Ms. Patterson replied that none had been received. Mr. Rennolds stated that the lights served a purpose, and pointed out that there was still quite a bit of land to be developed in that subdivision.
