Kennedy, It has been brought to our attention that Rinehart Construction , Ltd . has requested a variance of set back on above referenced lot . As we understand it , the original set back requirements were changed in late July 1988 , without any notification to land owners . We support Mr . Rinehart ' s request for variance and recommend that it be approved . We offer our support because to comply with the new set back provisions would place a three ( 3 ) story structure above ground . We feel that this would be aesthetically unappealing and would not be in keeping with similar construction in our neighborhood .
