Katherine,
I received your submission this afternoon and I am looking at it now. The photometric plan has not been revised to
meet the revisions requested at the last ARB meeting.
Firstly, this is produced at too small a scale to be legible. Please send me a digital version by email.
The big issue that has not been resolved is that the luminaire schedule must be revised to provide delivered lumens,
not lum. lumens. For instance, if you look at the manufacturer's specifications for light model AA that you provided,
you'll see under output that you have circled 1300 Im; on the second sheet for AA, in the table entitled "LED Options,"
you'll see Lumens as a category with three footnotes — the second footnote, or footnote 3 tells you that the numbers
are source lumens. This is different from lumens lumens and source lumens (also called delivered lumens or initial
lumens) is the value that needs to be in the luminaire schedule — not lumens lumens. So, again, the lumens output that
you have circled in each manufacturing specification needs to match the lumens output (delivered lumens, or initial
lumens, or source lumens — whatever the light people want to call it, just not lumens lumens) in the luminaire schedule.
Also, the catalog number should reflect the finish colors selected for each model. So for instance, model AA — you have
chosen the Anodized Effect "Dark Bronze" on the third manufacturer's specification sheet in the set you provided. This
has a code of AS. So the catalog number for model AA should read on the specifications sheet C3LS-N-N-W-13-83-30-
60-A5; right now, it reads C3LS-N-N-W-13-83-30-60-XX in which XX stands for "not selected;" but it has been selected
so please make this simple revision in the catalogue number within the luminaire schedule so it is easier for compliance
officers and future staff doing research to know what the approved color is. Please also do this on the spec sheets for
models AA and W (we don't need to know the finish or bevel colors of the soffit lights, models B and 132).
Lastly, the requested change #8 in the letter sent to you June 18, 2019 —about the landscape schedule —the request
was for you to update the landscape schedule for the whole of Block G. You had included that schedule in a previous
submission (cut -and -pasted it from previously -approved site plans) without adding the two AR trees proposed for this
project. If you want to omit the schedule from this submission and have a simplified chart with just the 2 AR you intend
to plant for the bank, that's fine. But then the schedule shouldn't be called "Blocks F&G Landscape Schedule," because
that's not accurate. This is not worth revising, I just want to clarify what was intended in the language of the letter
asking for revisions.
OK, please revise the luminaire schedule on the photometric plan and lighting specifications as requested above and
send me a digital version of the plan and specs by email — I will print them out here.
Thanks,
