Good Morning Heather,
Thank you for this clarification. I have made the requested changes which are linked below.

C&F Bank Photometrics

Katherine,
I received your submission this afternoon and I am looking at it now. The photometric plan has not been revised to
meet the revisions requested at the last ARB meeting.
I
Firstly, this is produced at too small a scale to be legible. Please send me a digital version by email.
The big issue that has not been resolved is that the luminaire schedule must be revised to provide delivered lumens,
not lum. lumens. For instance, if you look at the manufacturer's specifications for light model AA that you provided,
you'll see under output that you have circled 1300 Im; on the second sheet for AA, in the table entitled "LED Options,"
you'll see Lumens as a category with three footnotes — the second footnote, or footnote 3 tells you that the numbers
are source lumens. This is different from lumens lumens and source lumens (also called delivered lumens or initial
lumens) is the value that needs to be in the luminaire schedule — not lumens lumens. So, again, the lumens output that
you have circled in each manufacturing specification needs to match the lumens output (delivered lumens, or initial
lumens, or source lumens — whatever the light people want to call it, just not lumens lumens) in the luminaire schedule.
Also, the catalog number should reflect the finish colors selected for each model. So for instance, model AA —you have
chosen the Anodized Effect "Dark Bronze" on the third manufacturer's specification sheet in the set you provided. This
has a code of A5. So the catalog number for model AA should read on the specifications sheet C3LS-N-N-W-13-83-30-
60-A5; right now, it reads C3LS-N-N-W-13-83-30-60-XX in which XX stands for "not selected;" but it has been selected
so please make this simple revision in the catalogue number within the luminaire schedule so it is easier for compliance
officers and future staff doing research to know what the approved color is. Please also do this on the spec sheets for
models AA and W (we don't need to know the finish or bevel colors of the soffit lights, models B and 62).
Lastly, the requested change #8 in the letter sent to you June 18, 2019 — about the landscape schedule — the request
was for you to update the landscape schedule for the whole of Block G. You had included that schedule in a previous
submission (cut -and -pasted it from previously -approved site plans) without adding the two AR trees proposed for this
project. If you want to omit the schedule from this submission and have a simplified chart with just the 2 AR you intend
to plant for the bank, that's fine. But then the schedule shouldn't be called "Blocks F&G Landscape Schedule," because
that's not accurate. This is not worth revising, I just want to clarify what was intended in the language of the letter
asking for revisions.
OK, please revise the luminaire schedule on the photometric plan and lighting specifications as requested above and
send me a digital version of the plan and specs by email — I will print them out here.
Thanks,

Hello Heather,
I apologize, I think an opacity setting in the drawing style may have caused some confusion. We don't have any EIFs
flanking the actual door, just side lights. All materiality is the same as the original proposal, the proportion of the door
and sidelights have slightly changed. Do the screen shots below help? I will include this change in our resubmission,
which should go out in the next few days, we are just waiting on the glazing spec sheet.

Hi Katherine and Bob,
Let me make sure I understand the entry way in the new proposal: the flanking engaged pilasters are EIFS with brick
bases; then the dark ledgestone surround; then, flanking the actual door, you have EIFS with single-lite sidelights?
And the transom above the door but below the canopy has been reduced to a two-lite fixed window? And the door
itself is glass, either single or double lite, yes?

While I personally think the former configuration of the double door was better proportioned, I also do not think that
this door will be clearly visible from the EC — only obliquely, and largely obscured by the BJs building. You don't need
to have this change administratively approved through a separate application. When you submit final architectural
drawings and a final site plan that responds to all the comments made at the ARB meeting, just include this change
and I will approve it with the rest.
Just so you know, my last day at the County is August 9. If you can provide the revised submission by next week, I'll
have a chance to review it myself; otherwise, I'll be passing it along to Margaret.

Hello Heather,
We are in the process of finalizing the submission for final administrative ARB approval for C&F and had a question.
C&F would like to change the front door from 2 36" double doors to 142" single door as this is more in keeping with
their standardized look (change shown in the two screen grabs below). Is this a change that could be done
administratively? Thanks!

I am writing my staff report for this project today and I have a quick question — I just want to make sure I didn't miss
anything in your submission — did you submit window specs/cut sheets which provide brand name, series, and
VLR/VLT data? This can be submitted in lieu of an actual sample but one of the two must be submitted for review.
Thanks,

HI Katherine,
Thanks for your quick response. The digital file of the lighting plan will allow me to read it, and thank you for revising
the manufacturer cut sheets for light fixtures AA and W to reflect their finish colors.
I have attached two pages from your submittal (approximately pages 6 and 7, "Existing Site Conditions" and
"Proposed Site Plan."). On the second sheet, I have highlighted in yellow the light pole I was mentioning; could you
please mark up where that is on the existing conditions sheet so I can understand where the light pole exists on site?
The LLF has to be equal to 1.0 for all light models proposed and listed in your lighting plan's luminaire schedule. This
will affect the photometric values, so in reality, your lighting plan will have to be completely revised. I understand
that you will not have enough time to accomplish this before my staff report is due on June 3rd, but I wanted to bring
it to your attention. It will be a comment in my staff report and we will expect a revised lighting plan for review after
the ARB meeting.
Thanks, Katherine!

Hello Heather,
Thank you for these comments. Linked below are the requested documents.
C&F Bank Photometric Plan
Cut Sheet with Specified Finishes
In regards to the light pole, the light is existing (see image here) which is why it is not accounted for in the cut sheets.
The extent of this light doesn't influence our proposed new lights, so it was not included in the photometrics plan,
but I have linked the existing photometrics plan for Blocks G and F below and have marked the light post in question.
Is this enough information to allow you to continue processing the drawings? If it helps I could try to stitch the two
drawings together, and if necessary we can reach back out to our lighting sub consultants to get an officially updated
plan, but I'm not sure we will be able to receive that within the timeline you require. Is the LLF requirements just in
relationship to this light pole or are additional changes required?
Existing Photometrics Plan for Blocks F&G
Apologies for any confusion, and let us know of any additional information you need. thanks!

Hello Bob and Katherine,
I'm sorry this is so late — I returned to the office from a two -week vacation on 5/13, but it's still taken me a while to
get to your project. I just conducted an application completeness check today, and I noticed some issues with the
lighting plan and information: firstly, the lighting plan is produced at a scale that is too small to read and is thereby
illegible. Please send me a digital copy of this plan at your earliest convenience.
Secondly, I noticed on the lighting cut sheets that lighting fixtures AA and W do not have finish colors selected.
Please revise the manufacturer's cut sheets that you have included in your package to name these two fixtures'
finish colors.
Lastly, your plans consistently show a LP (light pole, I'm assuming) on the east side of the one-way exit lane, the
throat of which lies northeast of the proposed building — but this light pole and fixture is not accounted for in the
lighting plan or in the cut sheets. Furthermore, the LLF in the lighting schedule must be 1.0 and the photometric
plan must be recalculated accordingly. If you are unable to resolve these two issues before next week, I will
incorporate them into my staff report comments, which are due in-house Monday, June 3rd. If you can revise or
send me the missing information next week, it will expedite the review process; otherwise, again, this missing
information and inconsistencies will be noted in my staff report and will become recommendations for future
changes.
