Mr. Hornaday, for economic reasons, has not made use of the variance granted at that time. His concern is that the right to make use of the variance may be waived should he not implement it within a set period of time. It is my understanding that the special use permit that was granted at the same time will expire within two years if not made use of, however that upon application a renewal of such is permitted. Please let me know if the same policy pertains with respect to the zoning variance. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
