Thompson Tax Map 26, Parcel 27 Dear Mr. Thompson, This is simply to confirm for the record, that I have determined that your variance request for building setback reduction for a proposed subdivision is not necessary. The file is now considered null and void. Mr. Grady, Deputy Zoning Administrator and I have examined the deed and plat you submitted, and have conducted a field visit. We measured the distances between buildings and determined that they could be subdivided so as to meet side setbacks. A front setback is not necessary because neither the front property line along your right-of-way changes, nor do you propose building addition at this time. In other words, that is a "grandfathered" or non-conforming situation which does not change. We could not check for other Zoning Ordinance requirements such as septic field areas and the like. Once your surveyor assesses the situation, he/she will know if any variance of other requirements is necessary. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call .
