MacConochie, the owner of the property described in TM 128 , Parcel 1, consisting of 407 . 44 acres , wishes to sell approximately 45 acres of this land, the southern boundary of which is bounded by State Route 6 . (Attachments A and B. ) The total road frontage of this small parcel is only 177 . 65 ft. , which is 73 . 25 ft. short of the 250 ft. line- of-sight distance required. (Attachment B. ) The owner requests a variance to this 250 ft. requirement. JUSTIFICATION FOR REQUEST: A physical inspection, coupled with aerial photographs, clearly shows that there are no obstructions to sight along this straight stretch of State Route 6 . An access road to the property in the rear of this parcel, which will run along the eastern edge of the parcel, should have no difficulty in gaining an unobstructed. view in either direction. Obtaining more land is not feasible; the land to the east (the "Adcock" property of 10 acres) is not for sale; the small parcel of 2. 14568 acres to the west (the "Steger" property) will not be split by the owner, who is asking $30 ,000 . 00 for the parcel.
