This letter is to notify you, as adjoining property owners, that
First Virginia Bank towners) , property described as Tax Map 32A,
Parcels 02-01 & 02-lAl, Zoned HC, Highway Commercial, has made
application for VA-91-•19 , requesting relief from Section 30 . 6 . 5 of
the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance, as follows:
Applicant seeks a variance to reduce the setback for a
proposed freestanding sign from 30 to 10 feet from both
Route 29 and Route 649 , to increase the number of wall
signs from 2 to 3 . To increase area of freestanding
sign from 18 to 36 square feet and to increase height of
location sign from 10 to 16 feet 8 inches to allow a double
face.
A public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning Appeals on
May 14 , 1991, at 3 : 00 p.m. , in Meeting Room #7 , Second Floor,
County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville,
Virginia.
