Box 8255, Charlottesville, Virginia 22906 June 10, 1990 Zoning Appeals Board County of Albemarle Dear Members, The Minor Hill Townhouse Homeowners Association believe the Board should be made aware of uncorrected problems in an existing Development in the county. These in the Wynridge Drive and Wynridge Lane roads of the Minor Hill Townhouse Development: -Failure to provide adequate drainage and paving on the Wynridge Drive and Lane Roads. -Republic Homes has been made aware of these deteriorating conditions through meetings, letters and engineering opinions over a period of more than 2 years. Findings from Engineering firms have disclosed the following: -The original pavement was less than adequate for a low traffic residential street. -The channeling of surface waters was improperly directed which today has the surface and sub-surface rapidly deteriorating and at the lowest drop-inlet of Wynridge Drive the street has collapsed allowing a hole large enough for a child to fall in. The Minor Hill Townhouse Homeowners Association respectfully requests the Zoning Appeal Board to withhold approval for future developments in the county by Reublic Homes until they correct lingering problems on the Wynridge Drivc, and Wynridge Lane roads For the Board of Directors, Roger B.
