SUB201800040 Correspondence 2019-05-16
This overall project was known by two names, Earlysville Business Park and Drillers Lane. Earlysville Business Park represented the site plan and the WPO. Drillers Lane represented the subdivision plat and the road plan. These projects were reviewed simultaneously. See below for a list of application numbers for these plans. Due to the various application types being review simultaneously, email correspondence sometimes covered multiple review types. I've tried my best to consolidate all correspondence for this application in this file; however, for all correspondence on this project please review the following files. Mr. McElwain's draft deed incorporates only the terms of the public drainage deed (County responsibility), but overlooks the terms of the SWM facility deed (owner responsibility). Also, has Community Development approved the proposed boundary line adjustment? Has the subdivision agent reviewed the proposed dedication of public rights-of-way? All the separate elements of this proposed deed have to work before it can proceed.The plat has been reviewed and revised a bunch of times. This will not affect the plat. The plat cannot be approved till the road plan is approved and bonded...I can see your point that there are no additional changes to the road plan which will affect bonding. However the bonding request is still needed. The WPO comments will not affect the plat. The VSMP must be approved before the plat is approved, so therefore it does effect the plat. This one seems a bit more meaningful with relation to the plat to ensure all drainage and stormwater management easements are correctly labeled on the plat to correspond with the final WPO. Can we forward the plat to the attorney for final review/approval? The County Attorney doesn't need to review the plat per say; rather, he only needs to review the deeds of dedications for the drainage easements and the stormwater management docs with comparison to the plat.
