Store—Initial Site Plan SDP-2018-00036 Mr._Moore, Thank you for your review and feedback on the Oak Hill Convenience Store plans. The following changes have been made in response to your comments: 1. Please show mill and overlay on plans in accordance with WP-2 and show limits of mill and overlay. Also please add the detail to the plans. The limits of mill and overlay are now shown and the detail has been added to the Site Plan Details Sheet. 2. The mill and overlay will require work to centerline, so flagging operation will be necessary. Please provide a MOT plan in accordance with the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual. The detail for TTC-23.1 is now located on Sheet C9. 3. Please provide sight distance lines and profiles for proposed entrance onto Country Green Road to plans. Sight distances lines are now included on Sheet C5 and profiles are on Sheet C8. 4. , Recommend dedicating right of way to the County for future public use. We have shown 22'width of the front of our property dedicated to the County for public right-of-way. 5. ' Please add dimensions for the curb radii and the entrance width. Dimensions have been added. • 6. Please see Road Design Manual appendix F-Access Management design standards for entrances and intersections, figure 4-10 commercial entrance design. Provide a right and left turn lane warrant analyses as shown in F-96..Please refer to F-109 to provide the appropriate design vehicle and turning radius by land use. - No turn lane or taper warranted for this project. The warrant analysis was included in a prior email. 7. Please provide drainage information for proposed storm water management elements. Stormwater management details are now provided on the plans. 8. Please see appendix F, page F-23, of the Road Design Manual for minimum spacing standards for commercial entrances, intersections, and median crossovers for major collector streets. An access management exception request has been submitted for the entrance spacing. 9. See Road Design Manual page B(1)-56 for parking bay turnout design. We have removed the curbs surrounding the parallel parking to facilitate entering and exiting those parking spaces. I 10. Pending trip generation submission the entrance may be eligible for Moderate Volume Commercial Entrance standards. 1 This site will generate more than 200 trips per day and therefore will not qualify for a moderate volume commercial entrance.
