VDOT only needs two yellow signs to approve the road plans. This will not affect the plat.
The plat cannot be approved till the road plan is approved and bonded...I can see your point that there are no additional
changes to the road plan which will affect bonding. However the bonding request is still needed.
The WPO comments will not affect the plat.
The VSMP must be approved before the plat is approved, so therefore it does effect the plat. This one seems a bit more
meaningful with relation to the plat to ensure all drainage and stormwater management easements are correctly labeled on
the plat to correspond with the final WPO.
Can we forward the plat to the attorney for final review/approval?
The County Attorney doesn't need to review the plat per say; rather,he only needs to review the deeds of dedications for
the drainage easements and the stormwater management docs with comparison to the plat. I've CCed David and Frank to
see if they can comply with your request to forward the legal docs to the County Attorney now w/the last revised plat...I
will note that I just asked David about sending the legal docs to the County Attorney's office yesterday and he said they
wait till the plat is approvable.Notably,engineering had some items remaining on the plat.

RE: Drillers Lane/Earlysville Business Park
Attached are all three review comment letters (site plan, road plan, and final sub plat) for the above ref project.
Summary of the reviews below(see attached letters for full review):
SUB2017-197 Road Plan—VDOT has required revisions to the road plan. Engineering requires a road
bond/request.
SUB2018-40 Final Subdivision Plat—Road Plan shall be approved prior to final plat, VSMP plan shall be
approved prior to final plat, drainage easements shall be approved prior to final plat, and Engineering has
remaining comments that shall be addressed prior to final plat.
SDP2018-76 Minor Site Plan—Road Plan, VSMP Plan, and Final Plat shall be approved prior to site plan
approval.
Staff recommends the applicant begin systematically revising the various plans in the following order to finish
this project:
1) Revise the Road Plan and the WPO plan and get these approved and bonded.
2) Revise the final subdivision plat and get all legal documents finalized and approved.
3) Revise the Minor Amendment
After the above steps are completed in that order, the project will be approved.
