See image of drainfield location and#3 comment below. The VDOH doesn't se-m to have any issue with the location. I
was a little concerned about part of the location being under the parking area nd in a fill area being compacted.

I just got back with VDH and they provided me an approval, see below.
Do you mind if I delete your comment to avoid confusion as its been addressed:
"3. VDOH approval of drainfield location and area required. {18-4.1 b}
Location of drainfield is partly under pavement, upstream of SWM facility, located in > 3:1
grades. "

I reviewed the pdf you sent and our files and in this case, a portion, or all, of the proposed drainfield area being
asphalted over will not be a problem. The preliminary drainfield design meets the minimum depth requirements
for covering with asphalt.

I am reviewing the above minor site plan amendment;however, it appears I neglected to send it to VDH for
review. I had already received VDH's approval on the plat(attached: SUB2018-40)which created this lot and
upon initial review the site plan depicts the drainfields in the same location. However it appears the applicant

is proposing portions of the asphalt parking lot to go over a portion of the drainfield(see below). Thus causing
me concern that VDH would also need to approve the minor site plan amendment.
Can you provide me comments from this PDF below which depicts the asphalt over a portion of the drainfield
OR do you need a hard copy submitted with a transmittal sheet in order to provide the VDH review comment?
