Bob,
Thanks for your call and message and for getting started on this. I've noticed two things:
1. I've attached a copy of the drawings that were approved with the last round of revisions to the Comprehensive
Sign Plan. These drawings are no longer accurate because of the altered building design for Harbor Freight. For
your current proposal, the drawings need to be updated to accurately show all proposed sign locations in the
approved building design. (I assume you no longer need the Tenant 2 sign illustrated in these drawings-
right?) The Tenant i and Tenant 2 signs in the approved CSP fo Building C were examples only of what
could go on the building. They are interchangable. That was my understanding of how the CSP is to
account for future tenant signage. I will have the sign company add a Tenant for future and the
Goodwill sign if you think that is required.
2. It looks to me like you are proposing more changes to the sign criteria list than you noted in your attachment.
Under Sign Type, in addition to channel letters, it looks like you are asking for approval of a "tag line cabinet". Under
Letter Face Color, are you proposing to limit the letters in all tag line cabinets (current and future)to white? Will all
backgrounds of the tag line cabinets be the shade of blue you are currently proposing? The Tenant i with"Message"
accounts for the HF tag line cabinet sign as proposed. There should be no need to update this. The colors
approved for Building C were to be interchangeable with tenant signs.
3. The blue illustrated in your proposed tenant panel is not an approved color under the criteria of the
monument sign. Are you asking to add that shade of blue as a tenant panel graphic color? The answer is yes,but only
if it will likely be approved, otherwise HF will use monument sign approved colors.
I can meet tomorrow afternoon if it would help to clarify and mark up accordingly.
1.
Thanks.
Margaret

Margaret:
Take a look at the attachment to see the revision in "red"to letter height. This revision should allow for the sign
dimensions and letter height for Harbor Frieght as drawn on their sign plans provided with the application. Please
confirm.
Thank you!
