Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) VSMP Regulation 9VAC25-870-108 requires the VSMP authority to approve or disapprove a SWMP. This plan is approved. Please provide a chart demonstrating that the impervious cover proposed with this amendment is less than that from the previously amendment (SDP201600051) as stated in Note 12C on the cover sheet. This comment was addressed in the second submission. B. Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) Virginia Code §62.1-44.15:55 requires the VESCP authority to approve or disapprove an ESCP. Please provide a drainage area map showing the drainage areas to the existing sediment basin and the proposed sediment trap. This comment was addressed. 3. Provide calculations demonstrating the adequacy of the existing sediment basin. This comment was addressed. 4. Please revise drawing ES2.1 so that the proposed storm sewer pipes are visible within the proposed parking lot. This comment was addressed. 5. Provide the drainage areas to the temporary slope drains in the sizing chart on drawing ES3.1. This comment was addressed. 6. Provide a chart showing the dimensions for the outlet protection. This comment was addressed. 7. Please provide a signed seal on all plan sheets. This comment was addressed. Engineering Review Comments Page 2 of 2 8. Provide evidence of permit renewal for VAR 10L472 to the County when received. The renewal has not been received. (update, 10/11/19): Comment withdrawn. SWCGP database indicates VARIOL472 is Active. Permitted land disturbance, 12.50 Ac., matches plan sheet ES1.0. 9. Please note that additional comments may be generated based on the response to the comments provided. Please send digital link to now -approved WPO201700014 Amendment to janderson2galbemarle.org, for final check, primarily of title sheet, prior to print submittal. Engineering anticipates no issue with print submittal of four (4) copies of the VSMP /WPO Plan amendment, for stamped approval. Please ensure PE seal is signed /dated. Please ensure on -site copy of current WPO2017-00014 SWPPP booklet is updated and confirm in writing when SWPPP booklet (Sec. 4) is updated with revised approved ESC plan sheets. Process: After approval, plans may need additional bond. WPO201700014 appears to have an ESC bond for $131,940, which includes stabilization (12.5 Ac.), silt fence, etc. Albemarle requests Applicant use attached bond estimate for current bond amount, and strike -through and revise any item that will increase with this Amendment. Revise quantities, only. If no quantity increases, or if discrete items increase (list revised value), but the overall bond amount is less than or equal to the current VSMP /WPO Plan bond amount (ESC Plan bond), then no further bond coordination is required. If the overall VSMP /WPO plan ESC Plan bond amount increases, please contact Ana Kilmer (434.296- 5832-x3246) and notify J. Anderson (email, above). If increased values merit additional bond, the County's Management Analyst will prepare bond agreement forms, which will need to be completed by the owner and submitted along with cash, certificates or sureties for the amounts specified. The agreements will need to be approved and signed by the County Attorney and County Engineer. This may take 2-4 weeks to obtain all the correct signatures and forms. Stormwater Management Facilities Maintenance Agreement exists. Site runoff is treated by an existing SWM facility (Ref. WPO201700014). Once Engineering previews /approves .PDF of WPO201700014 Amendment, and print plans are received, inspector (WPO201700014) may request an office or on -site meeting to review any substantive changes to design of UVA Research Park, Town Center building 4.
