RE: Request for Extension to Validity of Final Site Plan SDP201400006 (Willow Glen)
Dear Mr. Edwards:
Community Development Department (CDD) staff have received and reviewed your request (dated
October 16, 2019 — attached) for a six-month extension to the validity of approved Final Site Plan
SDP2014000060) pursuant to Zoning Ordinance (ZO) Section 32.4.3.8.b.
Acting as Agent for this request, I have determined that the request is reasonable in the context of your
ongoing efforts to amend SDP201400006 by way of the submission (and subsequent resubmittals) of a
Major Site Plan Amendment application SDP201900017, which is currently under review and which has
been under review since March 25, 2019. Therefore, your request is approved.
With this six-month extension, the period of validity for SDP201400006 now continues to April 17,
2020, on which date SDP201400006 will expire and will no longer be valid. Additionally, please note
that County approval of SDP201900017 (Willow Glen — Major Amendment), if granted prior to April 17,
2020, would establish a new five-year period of validity for the Willow Glen site plan, based on the date
of any such approval of SDP201900017.

1. Per ZO Section 32.4.3.8.a, SDP201400006 has an expiration date of October 17, 2019, as was noted in the first
review comment letter for SDP201900017 (Willow Glen — Major Amendment) dated May 7, 2019, and as was
discussed during the May 9, 2019 Site Review Committee (SRC) Meeting.

RE: Willow Glen: Validity Extension Request to SDP201400006 and SDP201900017
Dear Tim:
Please allow this to serve as our request to extend the validity of the approved Final Site Plan
(SDP201400006) in accordance to Z.O. Section 32.4.3.8.b. Our expiration will expire tomorrow
on October 17, 2019 which marks our five (5) year anniversary. At this time, we request an
additional six (6) months be granted to this approval. This will allow us the opportunity to secure
the necessary approvals in our current efforts to amend the original plan. The new expiration date
would extend to April 17, 2020.
