Bob,
I've looked over the drawings. I think shifting the step-down to the point where the addition joins the existing building
makes sense and will have an appropriate appearance. I can approve this change. I'll update the ARB file accordingly.
Thanks.
Margaret

Margaret,
The attachments marked, "final arb" are the final submissions that went to you several months back. The drawings
marked, "dec 2018" are the current drawings.
A2-0,the facade that faces Rt 29 has not changed.
A2-1, north and south facades have been revised, as follows:
Where the step down occurs in the ACM fascia, the step down has been shifted about 8 ft toward the east,or to where
the new addition joins the existing. The wind load was too much on that 8 ft section and the existing structure was not
designed to deal with it.The change was made as a structural necessity.
On the north facade, several sections of glass facade have been changed to a solid, smooth stucco material with a
required egress door in part of it.This was the result of having to fully enclose the stair as per egress requirement.
I believe that, other than the most eastern ends of the north and south elevation, which are not impacted by these
changes, those two elevations are not visible from RT 29.
Thank you for looking at this on such short notice.
Best,
BobA
