High Street Charlottesville VA 22902 RE: Action Letter — Notice of Disapproval (SUB201900171 Lots A, B & C - BLA / TMP #50-19) Pursuant to Subdivision Ordinance Sections § 14-208.1, § 14-106, § 14-212.1(A), and § 14-209, the application for the above -referenced final plat is disapproved. The proposed boundary line adjustment shown on this final plat (SUB201900171, dated 10/11/2019) is not permissible because two of the lots depicted on the plat (TMP 50-15B and TMP 50-18) do not currently exist; rather, current information shows only a single lot of record (TMP 50-19). The term "boundary line adjustment" means a type of subdivision in which one or more lot lines are relocated or altered so that the land exchanged is added to and becomes part of an existing lot. Prior to the submittal of a boundary line adjustment plat depicting the two additional parcels the owner needs to apply for and receive an official determination of parcel of record and development rights on the property which determines that there are in fact three parcels of record. Attached is an application for a letter of determination (LOD). Please also note that this decision may be appealed in accord with Albemarle County Code § 14-231.
