V Review Comment Letter
The above -referenced minor site plan amendment (dated 10/22/2019) has been reviewed by the Planning Services
Division of the Albemarle County Department of Community Development (CDD).
The site plan is not acceptable per applicable Albemarle County Code, and is not approved at this time. The Planner
for CDD will approve the plan referred to above when the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. The
following comments are those that have been identified at this time; additional comments or conditions may be
added or eliminated based on further review. [Comments are preceded by the applicable reference to the Albemarle
County Code Chapter 18 — Zoning Ordinance (Z.O.).]

1. [Z.O. Sections 32.3.3.b.1, 32.6.2.a, 32.5.2.e, 32.6.2.j, 32.7.9.41: On Sheet 2, identify the location and species of
existing trees and/or other landscaping within the proposed limits of disturbance.
2. [Z.O. Sections 32.3.3.b.1, 32.6.2.a, 32.5.2.d, 32.5.2.e, 32.5.2.n, 32.5.2.s, 32.6.2.j, 32.7.9.4]: On Sheet 2, identify
any existing landscaping within the proposed limits of disturbance that is proposed to be removed.
3. [Z.O. Sections 32.3.3.b.1, 32.6.2.j, 32.7.9.4.b]: On Sheet 2, identify the location and species of existing
landscaping within the proposed limits of disturbance that is proposed to be preserved.
If any existing landscaping is proposed to be preserved in lieu of planting new plant materials in order to satisfy
the landscaping and screening requirements of section 32.7.9, show and identify the location and type of all tree
protection measures, and add a signed copy of the conservation checklist that is required under such
circumstances in order to ensure that the specified landscaping will be protected during construction.
4. [Z.O. Sections 32.3.3.b.1, 32.6.2.a, 32.5.2.e, 32.6.2.j, 32.7.9.4.a, 32.7.9.6]: On Sheet 3 ("Site Plan"), show the
existing landscaping within the proposed limits of disturbance that is proposed to be preserved; and identify the
location, species, and size of all proposed new landscaping materials within the proposed limits of disturbance,
including (but not limited to) the "proposed island with planting area."
5. [Z.O. Section 32.4.3.6.a and 32.4.3.6.c]: All other applicable SRC members must review and indicate their
approval of this Minor Site Plan Amendment prior to final approval (as may be applicable) by the agent in CDD-

below.
