SCREENING CONCEPT:
EVERGREEN TREES ARE TO BE PLANTED SO
AS TO SCREEN THE EXISTING SATELLITE DISH
AS VIEWED FROM THE MOORMANS RIVER.
INDIGENOUS SPECIES,( WHITE PINE AND
RED CEDAR), ARE TO BE USED SO AS TO BLEND
IN WITH THE NATURAL AREA WOODLAND AND
THEREBY SCREEN THE DISH WITHOUT CALLING
UNDUE ATTENTION TO ITSELF.
THE TREES ARE TO BE PLANTED SO AS TO
APPEAR A NATURAL PART OF THE EXISTING
ENVIRONMENT. THE SLOWER GROWING CEDARS
WILL PROVIDE A DENSE LONG TERM SCREEN,
WHILE THE FAST GROWING WHITE PINES WILL
PROVIDE THE EFFECTIVE SHORT TERM SCREEN.
PLANTINGS ARE TO BE WITHIN TEN FEET
OF THE SATELLITE DISH AND HAVE A MAX-
IMUM TEN FOOT SPACING BETWEEN THEM. THE
RED CEDARS ARE TO BE PLANTED WITH AN
AVERAGE SPACING OF FIVE FEET.( SEE PLAN).
